Greatest Ferret Show On Earth
September  30 th,2000

        All was well in Chicago as we arrived in at about 5:30pm the day before the show.
Except ear cleaning, toe nail clipping and baths we're being given in Candy's and Cathy's
room!!

Lydia gave baths, while Candy and Cathy  where doing nails,and ears.   After all was done
and the babies put to bed, visitors came to the room just to talk about the up coming show.
      The day started great! A little cool at first with the wind, but
sunny and everyone was wearing a smile !!!!
             (P.S.   Wake me up before 10 O'clock)
     Then came the time to line up for vet checks, and get into the
show room to set up our cages adn get ready for the show.

              
     After waiting in line for awhile, we went inside to visit with all the other ferret loving
people who brought their ferrets to show.  Then we had to set up tables to put our ferrets
on while we showed.   Candy and Cathy (right) had a table to
sell their products of candels, hammocks, bedding, and blankies.

        Then came the first round of the show.  
          The Geriatraic class  came first.

                   Lydia took 2nd 
        Buddie didn't get any thing but we feel
         he is special and is first in our hearts.
