HI! My name is Bwaze and I wive wit my brudder, Mawty. Me can’t see no more, so I depends on Mawty to show me awound. He’s a weally good brudder. We had two udder brudders, Choco and Doowittle but dey had to go to da bwidge. We was at da shelter befores, but den we getted a mommy and a daddy who said dey wuv us. But dat not true, cuz dey dump us back at da shelter when dey finded out dey gonna have a hooomin kit. We didn't understand what was wong wif us.......after alls we smellded so nice!! Now we don't bewieve in forever mommys and daddys and we're not sure we believe in Santa Cwas eiver. Shelter mom said we gonna get a Santa but I say BAH, HUMBUG. You pwoove us wong pweeze? Tank you.
Things the shelter can always use: Ferret.com gift certificates, Ferret Nation cages, Totally Ferret food (show ferret, senior or the new venison turkey food), Innova EVO, Alpha Trak test strips, Science Diet A/D, Melatonin Implants, Ferretone, Laxistat, Nutri-Cal or ear cleaner. We have a volunteer that makes and donates all of our bedding so we don't need any bedding right now.
A donation to our vet would also be wonderful, as we have been doing between three and nine surgeries per month for as long as we can remember. Please make sure you let Dr. K's office know that it is a donation to The Ferret Inn. Please send us your name and address, as we want to make sure you get a big thank you from all the kids!
This has been a very overwhelming year for all of the shelters in Maryland, and we are no exception. Surrenders are WAY up, adoptions have been slow, and we are at max capacity right now, but the surrender calls keep coming and coming. The Ferret Inn is a 501c3, tax exempt organization, so all monetary donations are tax deductible! Please know that Blaze will appreciate whatever you choose to send and he's grateful that so many folks out there care so deeply for the shelter kids
