Birdie
This dear 8-year-old dark sable came to us when her Mom was dying of cancer. Birdie had a hard transition to shelter life and did not get along with other ferrets. She was so attached to me, and I was not sure I would be able to adopt her, because she is adrenal. She gets melatonin implants and is doing well in a foster home. Birdie loves Ferretone and Totally Ferret treats. We would also be so happy to receive food for her and the other shelter ferrets. We use Totally Ferret Active, Sheppard & Green Active, Zupreem, Innova Evo, and 8in1 Ultimate. Food can be ordered from either Ferret.com or ferretdepot.com and they will send it to the shelter with a note saying who the donor is. A Petsmart gift card also would be great. We are always in need of paper towels, q-tips, and unscented baby wipes, too.
